Fuck it.

[In German so he doesn't reveal his weakness to the ENTIRE Barge:] I know this is a long shot. But if you're out there, Marie, please let me know. Please.

[The false deferral of the fight, the laughter - that let Bourne know something was up. He blocked the first punch, but the second one hit him in the stomach, knocking him back a little.

Focus!

He incorporated the hit he'd taken into his movement, sliding his foot back on the grass and snapping his leg up and around to try and hit the other warden. Neither of them were really at their best right now.]

[They weren't, which meant Dick took the hit and was knocked slightly sideways rather then dodging, but like Bourne, he was able to use the hit to duck slightly away, snapping his elbow up towards the other warden's jaw.]

[Bourne dodged, but too slowly; the elbow grazed his jaw and he rolled with the hit, attempting to get a good punch up under Dick's guard.]

[And Dick took the hit, staggering backwards a few feet. and letting out a sort of surprised laugh.]

Not bad.

[The same sort of amused chuckle escaped from Bourne, too.]

You're not bad either.

[It was kind of a funny situation. Or was the emotional gutpunch of putting something out there and getting nothing he wanted to hear in return too much for his system? No, definitely the former.]
