Do you just pick pairings at random out of a hat or do you actively work to prolong their suffering? And where the hell do they go when we fail? Hell? Nothingness? Maybe I could have helped him. Damn you, it would have made more sense than putting me with David. All I did was damage both of us further. I ruined it. I could have helped both of them and I ruined it.
